We are the data controller for all personal information collected through our website, newsletters, and payment systems.

Counsellors listed on the site act as independent data controllers for the notes or records they create during counselling sessions.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

Website Use: IP address, browser type, cookies, usage analytics

Bookings: Name, email, session details, Stripe transaction ID

Courses & Products: Name, email, order details, access logs (e.g., course progress)

Newsletters: Name, Email address and consent status

We do not collect any sensitive personal information unless voluntarily provided during a session, in which case it is handled by the counsellor directly.

3. How We Use Your Data

Purpose and Legal Basis:

  • To manage digital product/course purchases: Contract

  • To provide customer support: Legitimate interest

  • To send marketing emails (if opted in): Consent

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with anyone.

5. Newsletter & Marketing

We only send marketing emails or newsletters to users who have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or by contacting us directly.

We do not use your purchase or browsing history to trigger unsolicited emails.

  • Are not visible to or controlled by Mind Mastery;

  • Are retained or deleted at the counsellor’s discretion, following professional standards.

Mind Mastery does not manage or store therapeutic records.

9. Data Retention

We retain:

  • Booking/payment records for 6 years (for tax/legal compliance);

  • Newsletter subscription info until you unsubscribe;

  • Course access logs for up to 12 months after your last login;

  • Website analytics data in anonymised or aggregated form.

You can request deletion of your data at any time (subject to exceptions for tax/legal compliance).
